The ultimate foodie event of the year is upon us! KRLD’s Restaurant week begins on Aug. 13 and lasts for but a week and what a glorious week it will be. Not only can we dine at some of the most fabulous restaurants in the Metroplex for a reasonable $35 dollars, we will be benefiting the North Texas Food Bank and the Lena Pope Home at the same time. Dining out has never been so guilt-free.
All participating restaurants will offer a three-course meal including appetizer, entrée and dessert. The dishes are pre-selected by the chef so be ready to go with the flow. Not included in the fixed price menu are drinks, tax and tip. Everyone is buzzing with excitement for the upcoming feeding frenzy. Organizing dining groups and choosing restaurants may have you sidetracked, however. Many restaurants are almost full so it is essential to take a break from your workday and make a reservation. It’s as easy as calling the restaurant itself, which are all listed on the KRLD Web site. As this is the 11th hour, chose several restaurants that you’d like to try. And don’t be discouraged when your favorite place is booked; this is the perfect time to branch out and see what the city has to offer.
