Whether you grew up here or are a transplant to our fair city - there is something about Fort Worth that makes us all adamant about how much we love our town. I don't know how many times I've been part of a conversation with an out-of-towner that said "people in Fort Worth sure are passionate about how much they love this place - what is that all about?". Then one stroll through downtown on a busy Friday evening sums it all up for them. You can't help but look around and not see families, teenagers, groups of friends, and couples of all ages - all together in one little corner of the world. And what is the one thing that tends to bring all of these people together? Well, food, of course! It has the power to put a smile on someone's face; bring together friends, family, and strangers; and sometimes the mere smell of a dish can bring back memories from years ago. It's a powerful thing - and in Fort Worth we've got lots of it! Yet somehow, Fort Worth gets left off of the culinary map. Open any publication that claims to be about DFW dining and you'll find copious Dallas content, a few "mid-cities" options and a couple of obligatory nods to the Fort Worth mainstays. Our mission is to give credit where credit is due and provide information to all of those food lovers living in and visiting Fort Worth. Whether you are dining in or out, we want to provide you with the information to enhance your food experience. You may consider yourself a conoissieur of good food or even "culinarily challenged" - but there is a little Foodie in us all! It's time to celebrate it!
